Binding

How a physical coin awakens a digital champion.

Every StrumyForge coin is paired with a unique champion. Binding is the process that connects your real-world artefact to its digital Forge-Form inside your Vault.

Binding in three steps

01

Open your blind pack

Each coin comes sealed with its activation card. The card contains a single-use activation code – keep it safe, as it’s required to bind the coin to your account.

02

Enter your serial + code

Every coin has an engraved serial number. Enter that number along with the activation code at:
strumyforge.com/activate

03

Awaken your champion

Once bound, the Forge unlocks the champion tied to that coin and places them inside your Vault. From that point on, the coin and its champion stay linked – in collection, in trading, and in battle.

Surges

When a champion awakens, the Forge reveals their Surge – an elemental or thematic affinity such as Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Shadow, Light, or rarer Ascended types.

Surges deepen identity and future gameplay without creating power creep. Two copies of the same champion can have different Surges, adding collectibility and personality.

How trading works

Because Binding links a physical object to a digital character, trading is straightforward and trust-based: the physical coin must change hands for the champion to move between accounts.

During a trade, the original owner unbinds the champion, the new owner binds using the same serial number, and the Forge generates a brand-new activation code. No blockchain, no loopholes, no digital duplicates.

Your Vault, and what’s ahead

Once a champion is bound, they live inside your Vault — your personal collection space. The Vault is the digital home of your champions, and over time it will grow into a full-feature environment that supports team management, missions, cosmetic legacy upgrades, and more.

One of the major future systems is the Marketplace, a controlled trading environment built around physical ownership. All trades revolve around the real coins — not digital transfers — so every champion in the Vault is backed by a physical artefact you can hold in your hand. The Marketplace will focus on safety, verification, and simplicity, helping collectors buy and sell securely without creating duplicates or loopholes.

Beyond the Vault lies the Forgehold — your evolving base of operations. As the project grows, the Forgehold will introduce roles you can assign to your champions: the Warden who defends your hold, the Scout who uncovers missions, the Archivist who manages knowledge and relics, and other specialised positions. These roles won’t increase raw stats, but they shape identity, strategy, and long-term collection depth. Because roles are assigned individually, duplicates become genuinely useful — different copies of the same champion can serve in different roles within your Forgehold.

Finally, these systems all lead toward the Arena — the planned battle environment where your bound champions face off in tactical, readable combat. The Arena will launch only when the core collection systems are solid, ensuring the battles feel meaningful and grounded in physical ownership.

All upcoming features are developed with one principle: build slowly, carefully, and always in service of the collectors who supported the Forge from the beginning.
