FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the physical coins, champion binding, Realms, rarity, and the future of the Forge.

General

What is StrumyForge?

StrumyForge is a hybrid physical–digital collectible world. Each real bronze coin is tied to a unique champion from one of the Nine Realms. When you bind a coin with its activation code, that champion awakens inside your Vault as a playable Forge-Form.

Do I need the physical coin to use the champion?

Yes. StrumyForge is built on physical ownership. A champion can only be awakened and kept in your Vault if you own the real coin tied to it. If the coin is traded, the champion follows it.

Realms & Rarity

How does rarity work?

Rarity in StrumyForge is defined by the Realms themselves. Gaia, Cryptania, and Lumoria champions are Common. Otharion, Aionis, and Nolandia champions are Rare. Draconis and Mythion are Mythic. Primordia is the God-Tier.

What if I get duplicate coins in blind packs?

Duplicate coins are more useful in StrumyForge than in most collectible systems. When the Forge stabilises a Realm, it can pull multiple echoes of the same champion from different defining moments — each awakening with its own Surge, its own personality, and its own potential role inside your Forgehold.

This means duplicates aren’t wasted. One copy of a champion might serve as your Scout, another as your Warden, and another as your Archivist. Each follows its own Legacy path and contributes differently to your collection.

Binding

What is Binding?

Binding is the process of awakening the champion tied to your coin. Enter the coin’s engraved serial number and the activation code found on its card at strumyforge.com/activate. The champion is then placed inside your Vault.

What is a Surge?

A Surge is the elemental or thematic affinity revealed when a champion awakens — Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Shadow, Light, or the rarer Ascended types. Surges add flavour and strategic depth without creating stat inflation.

Trading

Can I trade champions?

Champions can be traded, but only through the physical coins that anchor them. When you transfer the coin to a new owner, the new collector can unbind it and re-bind it to their own account using a newly generated activation code.

Is there a Marketplace?

A controlled Marketplace is planned for the future. It will support verified, physical-first trading, ensuring every champion in circulation is backed by a real coin — with no duplicates, loopholes, or digital-only transfers.

Future Features

What is the Vault?

The Vault is your collection space — a digital home for every champion you’ve bound. Over time, it will expand with features such as loadouts, mission slots, cosmetic Legacy upgrades, and team previews.

What is the Forgehold?

The Forgehold is your evolving base of operations. You’ll be able to assign champions to specialised roles like Warden, Scout, or Archivist, each contributing differently to your collection’s identity and long-term depth.

What about battles?

Tactical battles are planned through the Arena system — starting with focused 1v1 duels, then expanding to team modes and cooperative PvE. These features will roll out after the first physical release, so everything is grounded in real collections.
